Buyer / Estimate : Fashion / Textiles
Location : Near Cambridge
Salary : £ 25,000 : 30,000 + Bonus, Pension and Flexible Benefits + International Travel

Our client is a fast growing, young and vibrant company based 30 minutes from Cambridge, specialising in branded clothing and textiles. Due to continued expansion they have an exciting opportunity for a driven individual to work as a buyer/estimator for their busy sales team reporting directly to the sales and bespoke directors respectively.

Main responsibilities include pricing for the sales team, placing orders with suppliers, managing orders with suppliers, liaising with the artwork team, arranging the logistics of orders placed through to delivery.

This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate with the company in a strong place in its existing market and with plans to look into new opportunities over the coming months and years.

Requirements:

• Min College/6th form education
• Min 3 years’ experience in buying, estimating & procurement from International sources
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent customer service skills
• Be able to work out calculations in a timely manner
• Computer literate including: - excel, word, power point

Desirable but Not Essential

• Background in Clothing/Fashion/Promotional Merchandise/ Sportswear
• Knowledge of Artwork programmes
• Knowledge of Product Compliance, Quality and Factory Audits
• Chinese Speaker
