Experienced Commercial Broker
Location: Liverpool City Centre
Salary - £25k - £30k + Great Benefits

An exciting opportunity is now available for an Experienced Commercial Broker to join an already successful team for one of the largest Independent brokers in the UK in their office in Liverpool.

Duties of the Experienced Commercial Broker:

• Provide broking and administrative services to a range of clients.
• Develop and maintain positive on-going relationships with insurers and underwriters in a professional manner
• Supporting Account Executives on a day to day basis
• Checking policy documents (including endorsements) for accuracy prior to receipt by clients
• Managing accounts, answering policies queries and offering professional advice
• Dealing with mid-sized SME business and premiums from £5k - £50k
• Providing quotations for Commercial Insurance to range of clients located mainly in the local area
• Utilising e-trade systems, existing relationships with insurers and the experience of your colleagues
• Preparing and presenting information to clients, broker and insurers

Requirements for this Experienced Commercial Broker Role:

• At least 5 years’ experience in most classes of Commercial Insurance products
• Cert CII or above is beneficial but not necassary
• Certificate in Insurance is desirable but not essential
• Computer literate with good experience of MS package
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to use your own initiative and work within a team environment
