Cameron James are partnering with a leading business in the Keighley area in their search for a part-time Accounts Payable clerk.

My client, a market leading business, is looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to work a maximum of 25 hours a week over 3 to 5 days. Initially for a period of 3 months, but with the potential for this to be extended to 6.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be able to prioritise their workload in order to adhere to strict deadlines.
You will have excellent organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, the ability to work well within a team and good IT and accounting skills including being proficient in using MS Excel.

Responsibilities:



• Processing of invoices
• Scanning invoices to the automated e-invoicing software
• Dealing with matching queries such as manually adding order numbers etc.
• Following up unmatched or query invoices with the relevant business owner to ensure prompt payment.
• Liaising with external suppliers and answering their queries
• Support for payment runs
• Reconciliation of supplier statements
• Any other ad hoc duties as and when required

Key competencies:

• Previous experience of working in a busy finance function
• Good eye for detail, with the ability to work under pressure
• IT proficient (good Excel skills)
