Commercial Account Handler

Macclesfield (10-minutes’ walk from Macclesfield Train Station)

Up to £26,000

I’m working with a client who is currently looking to recruit a motivated Commercial Account Handler to join their growing business.

As an Account Handler you will be working alongside a hardworking team of insurance professionals and your focus will be to act as a primary point of contact for client services issues, establishing effective relationships. You will produce professional and complete documentation and correspondence in a compliant and timely manner.

Responsibilities: -

• Monitor, negotiate and process renewal terms with client and insurer
• Action mid-term adjustments as required
• Liaise with clients & Insurers regarding day-to-day handling of policies
• Keep documentation up to date, including registers and working procedures
• Handle and complete new business enquires where required.
• Represent the company in direct meetings with clients & insurers
• Provide back up to the account managers

Requirements;

• You will have experience working within the insurance industry, specifically as an Account Handler
• A proven, successful sales record is advantageous.
• Experience dealing with different commercial insurance products is necessary
• Dealt with all aspects of the policy cycle
• Great communication, numerical & decision making skills required
• Professional qualifications such as Cert CII would be of assistance but not a pre requisite to this position.
• You should be able to work with minimal supervision and work well within a team environment
