An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our client within the financial services sector based in Romford. They are looking for a Financial Controller to join and the business to lead the finance team and support the board and Director of Finance.

Reporting into the Finance Director the role will be a ‘hands on’ position, you will responsible for the full finance function and all the day to day accounting. Key duties and responsibilities will include;

· Monthly management accounting and financial reporting
· Statutory accounts and Year-end close
· Management of the finance team on a day to day basis
· Supporting the Board and Finance Director with ad hoc Projects
· Budgeting and Forecasting
· Prepare FCA returns
· VAT
· Cash-flow management and reporting
· KPI reporting, financial performance analysis and reporting
· Multi-currency accounts
· Production of audited accounts and tax returns

For this role it is essential that candidates are fully qualified- ACCA/ACA/CIMA and have proven experience managing the finance function within a fast paced and dynamic organisation. Working in busy and dynamic environment, it is essential that candidates have strong communication skills and are confident dealing with people across the business. Having a financial services background particularly within a stock broking and investment sector is essential for this role.
