Job Information

We are working with a growing engineering company and they are looking to recruit a Training Administrator to work within their HR team.

Reporting into the Training & Development Manager the role will assist with the administration of this busy department. Key duties and responsibilities will include;

• Maintain accurate training records -maintenance of both paper and IT systems, updating on a frequent basis.
• Ensuring that all employees have had the correct training and qualifications : for both new and existing employees
• Support the Training Department in the full range of training activities for around 200 employees
• Arranging all internal and external training courses.
• Booking rooms, issuing Joining Instructions, arranging catering and any equipment required.
• Create purchase orders and ensure invoices are dealt with
• Research external courses and training providers and provide recommendations to the Training & Development Manager.
• General administration duties including filing, scanning and photocopying, plus providing support with HR administration
• Facilitate good communication with other departments to ensure all training and training events are properly planned and co-ordinated.

For this role candidates will have ideally worked in a similar role and have experience within training administration. It is essential that candidates are looking to progress their career within Learning & Development (L&D / T&D).

Studying towards or holding CIPD in Learning & Development would be a distinct advantage, although not essential.

This role offers excellent scope to take on more responsibility, as you will be working in a busy team. So candidates must be keen to develop, be able to manage their own workload and work in a fast paced environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as you will be liasing with managers and employees across the business.

Ideally candidates will have worked within engineering or construction- although this is not essential to apply.
