Overview:

Cameron James are delighted to be partnering with a dynamic West Yorkshire based manufacturing business in their search for a Financial Controller. Our client, an innovative, rapidly expanding organisation is looking for an ambitious senior finance professional with experience of working in a busy, fast paced environment.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for the day to day management of the finance function, ensuring that all financial statements and regulatory filings are submitted timely in line with current regulations. In addition, you will also act as the main representative for finance in the Finance Director`s absence.

Responsibilities:

• Managing the processing of accounting inputs and documents for purchases, cash & treasury management & balance sheet controls
• Management of Finance team.
• Complete VAT returns
• Complete statutory information
• Complete corporate information as required by relevant government departments
• Acquisitions and Divestment reports
• Cash flow reports
• Maintain necessary source and back-up information to support corporation tax computations
• Prepare annual and monthly corporation tax returns (External & Internal)
• Keep updated documentation of processes carried out to Law 262 standards.
• Assist in the annual budgeting process.
• Support FD in the monthly Forecasting process
• Perform other projects and duties as reasonable requested by the Finance Director and CEO

Key competencies

• Ideally ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified, all though consideration will be given to strong QBE candidates
• Experience of working in the retail sector would be highly desirable
• Proven track record of managing and motivating a team
• Strong Excel skills
• Knowledge of ERP system (JDE)
• Ideally degree qualified
