I am currently recruiting for a well-known market leader in their field who are looking for an enthusiastic Qualified Management Accountant to join their long standing team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company where there is room to progress for a confident and energetic candidate.

I am looking for someone who has previously managed a team.

Duties include:

• Comparing actual and forecasted figures
• Setting of budgets
• Liaising with managers at all levels to collate figures
• Managing a team of between 3 : 8 (dependent on level)
• Producing the management accounts including profit and loss, budgets and cash flows
• Variance analysis and reports and commentaries for senior management
• Looking at current procedures and implementing necessary changes
• Producing profitability reports
• Bank reconciliations, fixed asset register, VAT returns, payroll administration and credit control
• Identifying cost saving, profitability and business enhancement opportunities

Key skills:

• CIMA/ACCA Qualified
• Previous management accounts experience
• Sage experience
• Strong Excel skills : vlook ups, pivot tables, macros

The company is located near the train station. Looking for a salary of c£45k plus discretionary bonus and company benefits
