Job Information

We are working with a well-established facilities management business, which is looking to recruit an experienced HR Advisor to join the business on a one year maternity cover contract.

Working in a team of 10 Reporting to the HR Manager, the role will involve managing the HR function for the business, overseeing 2,500 employees including 1,500 Blue Collar employees.

HR Advisor: Key duties and responsibilities will include;

• Dealing with all areas Employee Relations : Grievances, Disciplinary, Performance management and Absence management.
• Advising managers in disciplinary meetings and tribunals, documenting all relevant information and producing written outcomes on day-to-day cases.
• Monitoring workforce and ER to produce regular HR reports.
• Training, on-boarding, inductions and coordinating the new starter and leaver processes.
• Supporting management with HR system changes, and assisting managers with changes, in particular TUPE, in accordance with Employment Law and in consultation with Trade Unions.
• Developing positive working relationships with managers across multiple locations.
• Assisting the HR Manager to constantly improve HR service.
• Carry out specific people development activities as and when required.

Essentials;

• Strong Generalist HR
• Strong ER experience with a good understanding of the disciplinary process.
• Experience of advising in a fast pace multi-site environment.
• Available Immediately.
• Confident individual who is capable of liaising with all levels of management and staff.
• Ability to manage conflicting priorities in order to meet strict deadlines and targets.
• Experience with Blue Collar Employees is beneficial.
