We are working with a leading bank and they are recruiting for an experienced HR Generalist to join the business.

Reporting into the Head of HR, the role will involve all aspects of generalist HR and will involve dealing with the full employee life cycle of c80-100 employees. Key duties and responsibility will include;

•Working in a small HR team, supporting the manager with all aspects of admin and general HR duties - Deputising for the HR Manager when they are not in the office
•Supporting 80- 100 employees with any HR queries and being the first point of contact
•Annual preparation of departmental HR budget for the Branch
•Dealing with the full employee life cycle - including the full onboaring process, starters / leavers, contract changes and queries, reward queries etc
•Maintenance of attendance/absence records, preparation of yearly holiday charts and monitoring of annual leave
•Assisting with recruitment - dealing with agencies, managing and sifting CV's, organising and attending interviews
•Providing support to managers with ER issues - attending disciplinary, redundancy and performance meetings, providing support to line managers
•All general HR administration and processing
•Rewards - calculating and reporting on deferred bonuses (shares and cash)
•Providing payroll and bonus information, administration of expenses, end of year tax process and P11D submission for all staff, authorising payments and providing information to the accounts team

For this role candidates must have proven generalist HR experience and be ideally CIPD qualified or studying towards this.

Banking or financial services industry experience is essential for this role, as candidates must be able to hit the ground running.

This is a varied and exciting role, with exposure to all aspects of the HR team. Confident and professional attitude is a must, and candidates will need to be keen and motivated, looking to take on more responsibility.

Bilingual skills would be a definite advantage - ideally Spanish.
