Our client is a Supply Chain Management business based in Croydon; they are recruiting for an experienced Financial and Management Accountant to join the business. This varied and exciting role, will report into the Finance Director and it will include the following duties:

• Prepare the monthly management accounts with analysis of variance against budgets
• Produce accurate monthly statements
• Prepare monthly sales and profitability reports, customer / sector analysis, review of chargeable activities.
• Provide financial support across the business to the Operational Teams
• Perform all month and year end reconciliations
• Invoice financing support
• Daily cashlow forecasting
• Overseeing and delivering a timely month end
• Deal with complex queries
• Prepare profit and loss accounts for auditing and filing purposes
• Set up and maintain the fixed asset register

Key skills

• CIMA/ACCA/ACA or QBE
• Strong MS Excel skills
• Job costing experience
• MIS / Access Dimensions

The ideal candidate will be Part Qualified, Qualified or Qualified by Experience with a wealth of experience within a similar role. Candidates with a solid commercial experience in a similar role would be of particular interest to my client. It is important that you are ‘hands on’ and that you have experience of doing a fast paced, analytical and varied role. You will to be a team player, be driven and enthusiastic the role has potential to develop further for the right candidate.
