We are working exclusively with a leading Engineering Consultancy firm and due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced HR Manager for the London office.

Reporting into the Head of HR, the position will be responsible for providing strategic and operational support to ensure the delivery of excellent HR processes and tools to the business. Key duties and responsibilities will include;

• Responsible for the HR function for central London and the London offices - around 200 employees
• Working closely with local leadership teams, influencing as required to deliver fit for purpose HR interventions.
• Varied Generalist HR role - including Recruitment, Staff Retention, ER, HR policies / procedures and best practice, dealing with the full employee life cycle and also involved with HR strategy and supporting key stakeholders.
• Coaching and advising Partners, line managers and Head of Groups on how to manage team performance from induction through to exit.
• Taking a lead role in the review, management and development of HR policies and procedures.
• Involvement with restructuring, handling individual and collective redundancies, growth plans and recruitment
• Working on a number of HR projects - annual review of HR Policies, implementing effective HR management tools, Benefits & Reward annual renewal, employee engagement projects etc.
• Reporting on key development/training needs for local offices in order for development solutions to be scoped.
• Understanding and assessing the business impact of current and future employment legislation, ensuring compliance, updating employment policies and procedures as necessary.

For this role it is essential that candidates have worked at a similar level and ideally are CIPD Qualified. Proven generalist HR experience is essential, with exposure to working on and leading key HR projects and Initiatives.

It would be a distinct advantage to hold engineering consultancy (or similar) industry experience - although this is not essential to be considered.

They will be some travel across sites (London and Southern region) - so candidates must be willing to travel.
