Cameron James is recruiting for a temporary HR & Payroll Administrator on behalf of a leading Huddersfield based business.

To be considered for this role you will need to be available to start work next Monday (23rd January)

The key function of the role will be to ensure contracted workers are paid, accurately, on time and in line with company and contractual standards and to compete various HR administration tasks in accordance with procedures ensuring confidentiality at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Check and input schedule information and process weekly and monthly paid hours, on a daily basis ensuring that all details are input correctly.
• Calculate gross pay, overtime, expenses, ensuring that all details are inputted correctly.
• Deal with wages queries and supply a log of all wage queries and amendments
• Prepare bonus calculations and ensure that the correct payments are paid.
• Extract Non-Productive Hours from the weekly timesheets
• Create attendance sheet for contracted workers from resource information provided to assist creation of sickness absence information.
• File all timesheets and schedule information and maintain archives records.
• Send out job offer letters and contracts of employment ensuring that all details are correct.
• Set up new employees on HR System.
• Complete payroll every month/week ensuring that details are correct and that the Accounts Department are informed.
• Complete all associated paperwork relating to the enquiries, mortgage enquiries, reference requests, etc. and ensure that copies are placed on the personal file.
• Update the salary master files on the HR System on an annual basis and as and when required ensuring that all details are correct, letters are sent and the Accounts Department informed
• Maintain and update the disciplinary and recruitment spreadsheets ensuring that all relevant documents are entered sending monthly copies to managers across the Company.
• Compile disciplinary and recruitment statistics as and when required, ensuring that they are accurate and up to date.
• Issue annual appraisals to appropriate managers across the Company and monitor the return rate.
• Maintain the Company organisation charts updating with changes on a monthly basis.
