Job Information

My client, based in north Leeds is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their growing team. This permanent full-time role brings together a range of tasks to create a very varied and engaging role. Working within the property industry within a friendly team, this is an excellent all round accounts position.

Main duties:

• Be able to manage the purchase and sales ledger effectively, including credit control.
• Be able to perform weekly and monthly reconciliations for bank, petty cash and credit cards
• Be proficient in the use of Excel spreadsheets
• Be able to support the completion of monthly and year end accounts including the calculation and posting of accruals, prepayments, depreciation, journals, etc
• Be able to prioritise and organise your workload effectively and in a timely manner
• Support the FD with ad-hoc accounts work and the budget review process

Ideal candidate:

• Ideally be AAT qualified
• 2 years’+ in a similar role
• Strong Excel skills
