Our client is a growing and reputable City based company, they are looking for a Management Accountant to join the business. You will need to be confident in a fast paced SME environment. Reporting into the Financial Controller, your role will involve duties:

• Assisting in the management of monthly SPV management reporting and analysis.
• Monitoring compliance with budgets and reviewing reports of actual figures against budget for monthly and quarterly reports.
• Assisting in the process of Fund’s annual and half year report including liaising with auditors
• Assisting in the preparation of the annual budgets for the Fund and SPVs.
• Assisting in the review and completion of SPV statutory accounts and audit process
• Assisting in the process for corporation tax compliance for Fund and SPV’s
• Reviewing quarterly VAT returns for Fund and SPV’s
• Assisting in the management of the Fund administrator
• Liaising with the Operations team on ad-hoc projects
• Ensure that the Fund’s database contains all key corporate documents for the Fund as well as board papers and company policies.
• Maintain a database of director and company secretarial information for the Fund and all SPVs
• Maintain the fund and SPV electronic and original document filing system.
• Ensure that SPV policies and procedures are up to date and regularly reviewed by their boards and advisers e.g. H&S, ESG.
• Maintain databases in relation to the SPV’s e.g. reporting dates, companies house, HMRC deadlines etc. and ensure that deadlines are met.
• General administrative duties as required

The ideal candidate will be switched on with a 'can do' attitude and a enthusiastic approach to their work. You will need to have excellent communication skills and he confident in a deadline line driven role
