HR Project Consultant

We are currently working with a leading national charity in Wakefield who are looking for a HR Project consultant on a 3-6 contract

You will be working on multiple HR projects with the Director of HR and HR Manager to deliver the HR Strategy, as well as providing generalist support/advice to the Trust on a range of ER/HR issues.

These projects will contribute to attract, recruit, retain, develop and motivate high quality people who share their values across all functions and divisions and to facilitate sustainable high performance through their people.

The Role:

To provide input and support for a number of HR projects which will cover various aspects of the employment lifecycle, this may include reviewing practices, processes, policies & procedures, and tools to acknowledge issues and to make recommendations for improvements based on providing practical solutions, best practice, and according to time and budget constraints.

To develop robust project plans to deliver the recommended changes and to ensure that activities are progressed according to agreed timescales, resources and costs

To work as an effective member of the HR advisory team liaising with Managers providing advice on a range of HR/ER matters. Actively supporting Managers in ER casework (including disciplinary, capability and performance management issues) on a day to day basis, attending formal and informal meetings as required.

You will also have a willingness to travel to various services/locations on occasion, to support the delivery of a high quality HR service, deliver on project requirements and possess excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
