This outstanding retail distribution business is seeking a Warehouse Shift Manager to join them to support their continued rapid expansion.

The hours of work are 42.5 a week, rotating shifts 5.30am to 2.30pm, 1.15pm to 10.15pm, flexibility to meet the business needs.

Your new role

• This Warehouse Shift Manager role will be managing your team of around 30 operatives, 2 supervisors and working closely with the Warehouse Manager.
• You will be expected to deliver and improve the KPI performance of your team whenever possible and ensure the smooth running of the Warehouse.
• Maintain standard of health and safety
• Assign task and apprise results
• Produce reports regularly to keep track of jobs and help to plan work flow
• Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution within your shift
• Recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employees

What you'll need to succeed



• Worked previously in a Warehouse Management position.
• Have expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practises, with knowledge of process improvement initiatives.
• You will have knowledge of KPI's and hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases.
• You will be able to demonstrate leadership skills and the ability to manage staff.
• You will be able to demonstrate strong decision making and problem solving skills.
• You will have good verbal and written communication, methodical with attention to detail with effective listening skills and able to analyse information to make quality decisions.
• You will also be able to maintain good personal disciplines and standards, with the ability to demonstrate initiative and drive and be the role model for behaviour and performance standards.
