My client has an urgent requirement for a Receptionist to join their ambitious and forward thinking company on a permanent basis. My client has built an outstanding reputation within the Yorkshire Engineering world and is looking for someone who embodies their goals and values to act as first point of contact for people visiting the office.

• General office administration.
• Welcoming visitors, booking them in/out and ensuring they have refreshments.
• Booking out meeting rooms.
• Carrying out switchboard duties, forwarding calls to relevant contacts within the business.
• Arranging travel and accommodation for senior members of staff.
• Element of diary management.
• Taking minutes in important meetings.

In order to be considered for this role, the ideal candidate must have previous experience as a Receptionist within a professional environment. The candidate must have the ability to act as the face of the company as they are the first point of contact for visitors. Other skills required include;

• Strong organisational skills.
• First class customer service both face to face and over the phone.
• Professional work manner and strong work ethic.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multi task whilst maintaining a high level of work accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and Power Point.
