We are working exclusively with a well respected and award winning Media & Productions company who are looking to recruit an experienced HR Manager / HR Generalist to join the business ASAP.

The role will be a part-time position - 3-4 days per week.

Reporting into the Directors the role will be responsible for the HR function for this growing SME and will be working in a stand alone role, providing all aspects of HR support to around 65 employees.

Key duties and responsibilities will include;

• Stand Alone HR role reporting to the MD and Senior Team- responsible for all aspects of HR best practice
• Deal with queries and provide support in regards to HR policies, procedures, keeping upto date on Employment law.
• Provide guidance on ER matters - performance management, disciplinary, grievance, capability, attendance and sickness management
• Responsible for all aspects of a generalist HR role including, Recruitment, Training and Development, Full employee life-cycle, on-boarding / off-boarding, staff contracts, referencing, new starter inductions etc
• Checking payroll information - amending and changing compensation and salary details, exits etc
• HR Administration and updating employee HR records, manage all confidential HR paperwork and the HR database
• Managing recruitment for the business - coordinate the recruitment process, pre-employment checks, screen and interview candidates, new starter inductions etc.

Work with Directors on continued improvement of the HR function, contributing ideas to maintain an effective office environment.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to work in a varied and hands on HR position, working directly with the Directors.

For this role candidates must have proven experience at this level and have worked in a stand alone capacity. Ideally you will be CIPD Qualified (or equivalent), although this is not essential.

Candidates must have strong communication skills and have a straight talking attitude, in addition to being confident taking a hands on approach within all aspects of HR - including being involved with HR administration.

An interest in Media / TV/ Film / Productions / Communications is essential to work in this industry!
