The role sits within the Finance department. The role covers all areas of the Bank of England reporting. The interpretation of regulatory rules and their application to the business is extremely important. Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking is a must. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Finance.

Our client is the UK Office of a large international bank. They are looking to recruit a Regulatory Reporting Manager person to assist on an interim basis. The roles will last for a minimum of 6 months and could go permanent for the right person.

Main responsibilities

• Preparation of Bank of England statistical returns.
• Responsible for the daily, monthly, quarterly & annual regulatory reporting
• Ensure the Bank of England returns are submitted in a timely and accurate manner
• Keep up to date the software used for the Bank of England reporting (Knowledge of STB Reporter : Lombard Risk is desirable)
• Familiarity with CRD, BT, ELS, PL, CC, CL, VP, GT, TFS returns is essential.
• Familiarity with GABRIEL and OSCA is essential.
• Stay abreast of the Bank of England communications
• Ensure compliance with all current regulations and develop appropriate plans to be compliant with future regulations
• Daily control of liquidity positions/funding requirements
• Knowledge of/exposure to FSA Reporting (FSA047/048/052) is desirable
• Experience in Stress testing/liquidity metrics is desirable
• Assist in other areas of the department as required. (HMRC BBSI submission)

Skills, experience and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• ACCA, ACA or equivalent qualification or working towards this
• Previous reporting experience. Circa 5 years
• Solid numerical and analytical skills
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
