Role: Site Administrator (Temporary, 5-month Contract)

Location: Hull

Salary: £7.50 - £9.00 p/h DOE

Cameron James is currently assisting a market leader within the Construction industry in their search for a Site Administrator to start with immediate effect. My client is working on a multimillion pound project within the East of Yorkshire and are looking for a proven administrator with demonstrable experience of the construction industry. The main responsibility of the Site Administrator will be to assist with the smooth running of the site by carrying out any administration tasks required. Other responsibilities include;

• Answering calls and dealing with any incoming general enquiries.
• Forwarding faxes or calls to relevant point of contact.
• Acting as the first point of contact and meeting and greeting any visitors.
• Producing documents as required, when requested by supervisors.
• Manage all incoming and outgoing post.
• Managing purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Raising work instructions for invoicing on customer software.
• Manage all site holidays.
• Manage the site timesheets ensuring all hours and materials are logged onto individual work sheets.
• Typing up letters and producing any other documentation as requested by supervisors.
• Ensure filing is up to date.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with all business levels.
• Implement all company policies and procedures including Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety and HR procedures.

In order to be considered for this role, the chosen candidate will have experience of working within an Administrator position within the Construction industry. This position is based on site, and as a result the candidate must have a valid and up to date CSCS card and must have passed the CITB Operatives, Health and Safety test. If you do not, you must be willing to obtain one at short notice. Other requirements include;

• Strong organisational skills.
• First class communication.
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines whilst ensuring the quality of work is not compromised.
• Must be able to commit to working a contract for a 5 months period.
