Cameron James is currently assisting a market leading Manufacturing company in the West Yorkshire area in their search for a Sales Account Manager to join their small but successful internal sales team. This is a great opportunity for a proven sales person to join a company with realistic KPI’s and no cold calling!

The main responsibility of the Sales Account Manager will be to manage circa 1000 Accounts ensuring all accounts are serviced to the maximum. There is no cold calling involved in this role and all accounts are ones with either existing sales or previous traction between companies including lost contact. Other responsibilities include;

• First class Account Management.
• Servicing existing accounts and upselling products.
• Holding business style conversations with clients around products offered.
• Offering first class customer service.
• Upselling products and ensuring orders are processed.
• Updating the CRM database with accurate notes.

This is not a call centre environment and Account Managers are not put on an automatic dialler. You will be given the responsibility to manage your own pipeline and work autonomously as long as you are achieving your set KPI’s. You will be targeted upon the amount of calls made each day, the number of minutes you are on the phone and the amount of monthly revenue you generate. You will be given extensive training on a weekly basis in order to help you become a highly successful Account Manager.

In order to be considered for this role the chosen candidate must have demonstrable experience in closing sales over the telephone. Other requirements include;

• Ability to build first class rapport at all business levels.
• Experience of not only achieving targets, but exceeding them.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• The ambition to succeed and become an intrinsic part of the company.
• A resilient and patient nature.
• Target / money motivated.
• Experience of working within a tele sales role.
