HR Assistant

Leeds / £16000 - £20000 / Immediate Start

Reporting to the Organisational Development Manager within the HR/L&D function, the successful professional will be responsible for providing a generalist HR administrative support service to the HR team whilst acting as the first point of contact for the wider organisation. The position will be based in Leeds City Centre, will be on a 6 months to perm basis and 30 hours / 4 day week.

Will need to be in on Wednesday but can choose which other day to take off.

The role would be ideal for a graduate or administartor looking to make the make their first move into HR.

Duties and Responsibilities consist of:



• To administer the internal system; ensuring L&D is supported by the effective business reporting.
• Learning and booking training courses for business and imputting on the system.
• Ensure continued smooth delivery of programmes by providing excellent support.
• Capability to administer training across all areas of the learning cycle.
• Provide day to day advice to Line Managers and Employees on general HR related queries, escalating more complex issues.



• Have proven administration experience particularly within a HR Setting would be desirable
• Exceptional communication skills (written and oral), with the ability to liaise with professionals at various levels
• Competent using Microsoft software, including; Excel : Intermediate, PowerPoint, Word.
• Degree within Human Resources / CIPD desirable
