My client is looking for a Assistant Accountant to join their team. This role, based in West Gorton, Manchester (M12) is a vital part of the organisation and someone with a strong background in a similar position will be required. For this role you must have strong experience on Sage 50.

Main duties:
· Preparing Sales Invoices
· Posting of Purchase Invoices
· Preparing VAT returns
· Producing aged creditor/debtor reports
· Bank reconciliation
· Chasing outstanding debt
· Managing ledgers

Ideal candidate:
· Experience of 4+ years’ in a similar role
· Proficient with Sage 50 and Excel
· Ability to work well in a standalone position

This role will suit someone who is looking for a role where they can expand on a solid foundation of knowledge within accounts.
