Bookkeeper / Senior Accounts Assistant

My client is an established and well know company within the retail sector. They are looking for an experienced Book Keeper / Assistant Accountant to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a small hands on accounts departments. You will need to have worked previously within a similar role and be able to ‘hit the ground running’.

Sage line 50 experience essential

Duties will include:

· Accounts to trial balance stage

· Accounts payable

· Processing staff expenses

· Checking and allocating of payments

· Daily banking

· Bank reconciliations

· Credit Control

· Supplier statement reconciliations

· Payroll processing

· Book Keeping for multi sites

Looking for someone responsible who can hit the ground running, and work in an organised manner. You will need to have good communication skills. Anyone with retail experience would be of strong interest to my client.

Offering competitive salary of c£21k - £24k
