Job Information

We are working with an established manufacturing business based in Macclesfield currently seeking a HR / Payroll Advisor

Reporting into the Head of HR, the role will be responsible for providing efficient and effective HR administration and Payroll support

This is a varied and hands on HR role and will have exposure to all aspects of a busy generalist HR role. Key duties and responsibilities will include;

• Assisting the HR team with all aspects of generalist HR matters - disciplinary and grievance, absence management
• Dealing with a range of HR support including recruitment, HR administration, Training, Starters / Leavers and HR compliance
• Processing and running of the end to end payroll
• Starter / leaver process - completing background checks, enhanced DBS checks and references, Issuing of staff contracts, handbooks and ID cards.
• Provide first line advice to employees and managers
• Reconcile timesheets, calculate holidays and pro rata figures
