The role of IFA Administrator:
Business processing
To produce the all relevant paperwork for the client, on behalf of the Adviser, including, quotations, illustrations and valuations.
To process all new business documentation in accordance with the agreed service and quality standards.
Client Service
To deal with basic queries from clients, Advisers or colleagues, taking the appropriate action to ensure the query is dealt with in a timely and effective manner.
To deliver excellent client service in accordance with FCA guidelines, internal policy and procedure and company service standards.
To ensure that the information on the database is accurate and up to date.
Communication
To develop and maintain good working relationships with the Advisers, colleagues and management in order to provide an efficient and effective service to the Adviser and the clients.
Job Context:
The role holder will support between 1 and 4 Independent Financial Advisers, dependent upon their experience and the Advisers business production.
The key functions of the role are to deliver an efficient and effective support service to the Adviser, while providing an excellent service to the client.
The job holder needs to be an excellent team member with a flexible approach to work to suit business needs and changing priorities.
Benefits:
The normal hours of work are 35 hours per week, between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday (1 hour lunch break), however flexible is required to suit the needs of the business. Holiday’s are 25 days holiday per year, holiday entitlement increases to 26 days after five complete years’ service and then by 1 additional day per year up to a maximum of 30 days.
