An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our client based in Harlow at a time of high growth. They are looking for a commercially focused Finance Controller to join the business. The role requires you to be able to start at short notice and to commit initially to a 3 month contract. It could be extended or go permanent for the right candidate.
Reporting into the Finance Director this role will be a ‘hands on’ position, you will responsible for the full finance function and all the day to day accounting. Key duties and responsibilities will include;
Duties and responsibilities

• Management of the finance Team
• Monthly management accounting and financial reporting
• Statutory accounts and Year-end close
• Management of the finance team on a day to day basis
• Supporting the Finance Director and Directors
• Budgeting and Forecasting
• Cash-flow management and reporting
• KPI reporting, financial performance analysis and reporting
• Production of audited accounts and tax returns
• Managing external relationships
• Develop and document business and accounting processes to strengthen internal control
• Maintenance of work in progress
• Business Partnering to operational teams

Experience:

• ACCA / ACA or CIMA Qualified
• Able to drive through change, lead a team, develop relationships across the business
• Commercial, solid experience and confident in a fast paced / hands on role.

The successful candidate will possess a technically strong background and be able to demonstrate a high level of commercial aptitude. It is essential that you are ACCA, CIMA or ACCA Qualified, with relevant experience within the fast paced SME Sector.
