Are you an experienced Motor Claims Handler looking for a unique opportunity?

Cameron James is partnering with a newly established MGA who are in the process of establishing a brand new claims centre to be based in Leeds city centre. As part of this process, our client is looking for two experienced ‘cradle to grave` Motor Claims Handlers to join the business from inception, with a view to playing an integral part in growing, developing and mentoring a large team of handlers over the next few years.

As such, this is a unique opportunity to join a business at the start of its journey. The expectation is that both these roles will develop into senior handler/team leader positions as the business develops.

Duties of the Motor Claims Handler role:

• Registration, investigation, negotiation and settlement of claims
• Liaise with underwriters to ensure the application of appropriate clauses, endorsements and conditions
• Ensure claims are correctly reserved and settled as well as to pay valid claims ensuring the proper application of policy limits, excesses and best practice
• Deliver first class customer service and keeping customers up to date at every step of the process

Requirements of the Motor Claims Handler role:

• 3+ Years of Insurance Claims experience for the Junior position
• Knowledge of the full ‘cradle to grave` Motor claims process
• Progression towards CII qualifications would be advantageous
