An exciting opportunity to join a growing and dynamic professional services organisation has arisen for an end to end Payroll Supervisor. The payroller will be in sole charge of the monthly payroll cycle for all four of the UK based offices. In total this equates to around 130 employees in total. Although it is a monthly payroll there are complex aspects which require someone who has a solid payroll background. This position sits within a small finance team of 4 other staff and on occasion ad hoc duties within finance will be required.

The main duties of the payroll supervisor will include:

• Full responsibility of group monthly payrolls
• Liaising with HR for information on new starters, leavers and mid-month changers
• Monthly payroll input for all employees
• Implementation of tax code changes
• Salary sacrifice benefits : child care vouchers etc
• Calculating SSP, SMP, SPP and other adjustments
• Preparation of pay slips and P45s
• Produce and distribute P60`s
• Processing BACs files ready for transmissions
• Reconciling payments
• Month end reports
• Ensuring HMRC submissions are completed accurately and on time
• Accurate running of pensions processing, administration and submission
• Coordination of salary reviews and bonus payments and preparation of data surrounding this
• Query resolution

For this role it is essential that candidate is up to date on all knowledge of UK PAYE legislation, current Employment Law, Pensions : including Auto Enrolment, Payroll, HMRC and Working Rule Agreement Regulations. It is also necessary that the candidate must be able to manually calculate Tax, National Insurance deductions and Statutory payments.

This is suited to a highly professional payroll who is looking for a part time role, the hours can made to fit around the applicant and there is flexibility in this. It is based lovely modernised offices in Leeds city centre only a short walk from the train station and other transport links.
