Claims Handler : Motor

Working in partnership with a leading Motor Claims Specialist in West Yorkshire we are currently recruiting for Claims Handlers to work within the Motor Team.

As a Claims Handler you will be responsible for achieving strong customer performance results by working as a team. You will build strong customer relationships by both email and over the telephone and you will help to settle claims as fairly as possible, whilst delivering great customer service. You will also be required to complete other operational activities appropriate to your skills and experience.

The successful Claims Handler will have:

• Strong attention to detail coupled with a tenacious mind-set
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads
• The ability to achieve and exceed targets
• The capacity to manage and deal with change effectively and timely
• A professional attitude
• Exceptional customer service
• GCSE Grade C or above (or equivalent) in Maths and English
• Customer claims handling knowledge or experience would be an advantage

In return you will receive a salary of £15,100 per annum, 25days holiday with the option to buy and sell annual leave, a comprehensive training induction programme which will provide you with the knowledge required, performance related bonus, support towards insurance qualifications and internal development programmes. Working hours will be a shift between 08.30 : 20.00 Monday to Friday and some Saturday mornings.
