The Company:

A firm of Financial Advisors, established for over 20 years, you will be in a team of 8 other Paraplanners and Sales Support Administrator. Ideally you should be seeking part time hours.

If you like mucking in you will enjoy this environment. It is friendly, professional and supportive. The job description is not restricted to the below, and the whole Administration team are responsible for the tasks.

The Job:

• Providing technical support to IFAs including product research (investment; pension; life assurance; protection); investment fund performance
• All new business and servicing administration
• Preparation of Suitability Letters and Client Reports
• Preparation of regular Valuation Reports for investment clients
• Preparation of paperwork for clients including new applications; servicing forms; trusts; fee agreements; invoices
• Submission of life/investment/pension applications (paper; online)
• Dealing with general (existing) client enquiries where no advice is required
• Liaising between clients and IFAs as appropriate (where advice is required)
• Liaison between IFAs and clients with insurance/pension companies and investment companies
• General administration including setting up and maintaining client files and records
• General administration of group schemes (pension; DIS, PMI)

From You:

• Assistance with general duties involved with the running of a small office.
• Sound technical knowledge of investments, pensions and protection.
• Ideally FPC-qualified, or willingness to undertake relevant industry examinations
• Friendly disposition with clients, work colleagues and business contacts.
• Knowledge of research and support programmes including Aequos; IRESS; provider websites; general use of Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook.
• Ideally experience with Intelligent Office.
