Business Development Manager

City of London

Salary : up to £45k

Our client is a leading Insurance Broker with offices across the UK. They are now looking to add a tenacious Business Development Manager to the team.

The role will involve developing accounts with premiums in excess of £2,000 in premium across all classes of Commercial Insurance

You will be supported from day one by a dedicated Account Handler and their New Business Broking team to allow you to focus building your book of business.

For this position our client will consider either an existing Account Executive/New Business Executive or an Account Handler looking to take that next step in your career.

Experience Required

• At least 5 years Commercial Insurance experience
• The ability to build a pipeline and bring in New Business
• Excellent knowledge of the Insurance market
• CII or progress towards is desirable
• Excellent negotiation skills with Insurers and prospects
