A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and capable Commercial Account Handler to join one of the UK`s leading Commercial Insurance Brokers working out of one of their successful Cumbia based offices. For the right calibre of candidate, this position is also offering the pathway into a Team Leader position.

Due to continued growth, they now require a technically sound Insurance Professional with a broad knowledge of commercial insurance products who can offer clients the highest level of customer support and technical advice.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, monitor and manage team performance, focusing on client service and quality excellence, driving continuous improvement. To supervise junior members of staff in the day to day management of the team including conducting 1-2-1`s and appraisals.
• Ensure that insurers and their representatives afford clients an appropriate quality of service within appropriate timescales
• Provide support where required to an existing portfolio of clients in the form of dealing with day-to-day queries, broking, midterm adjustments, renewals and managing relationships with key clients and stakeholders within the business.
• Maintain open channels of communication and disseminate technical and operational updates.
• Responsibility for regulatory compliance providing first point of contact for escalated issues and complaints.

Required experience:

• Strong technical knowledge of Commercial insurance
• Previous broking experience
• A minimum of Cert CII qualified : Dip CII or ACII desirable
• Good interpersonal skills
