Job Information

Our Global, Institutional Asset Management firm, established for over 100 years requires an experienced Portfolio Manager.

Investment Qualifications are preferred.

The Portfolio Manager develops and manages fixed income portfolios for institutional clients. The Portfolio Manager provides customised investment reports to clients and assists clients in providing key investment information to regulatory bodies.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong knowledge and extensive experience in insurance and investments, and knowledge of their interactions;
• Demonstrated ability to achieve investment performance results above established benchmarks;
• Highly effective written and verbal communication skills.

Accountabilities:

• Assist with all aspects of investment, research and administrative work
• Successful track record
• Portfolio Management
• Develop and modify customised investment strategies for specific client portfolios;
• Develop strategic portfolio and operational objectives with appropriate client input;
• Work closely with traders, credit analysts and risk management analysts to develop and execute client specific investment strategies;
• Constantly monitor client portfolios to ensure compliance with client guidelines and goals;
• Execute trades to implement required changes in client portfolios;
• Generate client specific investment reports, including quarterly finance/investment committee reports;
• Report investment results to client senior management and Board level personnel, as required;
• Assist the CIO (Europe) with Client Relationship Management;
• Work with the Investment Solutions team to assist with strategic asset allocation analysis for prospects and clients;
