An opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Account Handler to join a very highly regarded North Leeds based Commercial Insurance Brokerage.

Our client, a staunchly independent broker with a national reach who operate from a number of key strategic locations, is seeking a Commercial Insurance Broker with a solid grounding (2 to 3 years experience) in dealing with commercial clients. Experience of dealing with Commercial Combined, Property and Liability policies is essential.

Responsibilities:

• To act as the first point of contact to provide clients with professional support and accurate information with regards to their product and services.
• To build and maintain an excellent rapport with our clients, providers and colleagues
• To take ownership of all tasks and proactively manage priorities and deadlines
• Respond to clients queries in a timely and accurate manner.
• To provide relevant information to the sales team to ensure sales opportunities are realised.
• To produce and maintain accurate and complete documentation /correspondence.
• Produce high-quality correspondence, using standard templates, writing clearly, concisely and professionally.
• To log all business activity, ensuring revenue is accurately recorded and documented.

Key competencies:

• In-depth knowledge of the commercial broking market.
• 2 years` experience gained in a commercial broking environment
• Ideally, be a minimum of Cert CII qualified
• Experience of using the TAM trading platform would be advantageous
