Electrical Estimating Technician Vacancy – Bradford - £34,000-£36,000 – Qualified Electrician needed for part hands-on, part commercial role with excellent career prospects

 

The business itself has been manufacturing and selling their products (Cabinets, Pillars, Base boxes etc) into Local Authorities, Schools, Utility Providers and more for over 50 years. They are now seeking an Electrical Estimating Technician to help deliver a new service offering to their existing customers.

 

Essentially this means doing the electrics in-house as opposed to externally, saving costs for the customer. When successful you will be expected to:

• ·        Contact existing customers
• ·        Analyse their requirements
• ·        Create the Plan/Design, and identify costing and timescales
• ·        Offer a quote and close
• ·        Create, build or wire the product to specification
• ·        Do full testing
• ·        Ship it to customer for installation (They or their contractors install on site)

 

I’m keen to hear from you if you are:

• ·        An electrician with testing experience, with qualifications for both that can be evidenced
• ·        Local to Bradford, the role is predominantly based from their workshop and offices,
• ·        Ready to take on a part hands-on, part commercial role and want long term career progression
• ·        Happy with ‘normal’ working hours, Monday to Friday

 

When successful you will receive:

• ·        A salary of circa £35,000
