Paraplanner Vacancy – Stockport - £30,000-£40,000

A Wealth Management company in Stockport is currently recruiting a Paraplanner. The business is in a period of growth, workload is increasing across the business and they anticipate that further opportunities will be available for the successful candidate in the future.

As a Paraplanner you will support the Independent Financial Advisers ensuring high quality work is produced and an excellent service is provided to their clients.

Duties will include but will not be limited to;

• ·        Discuss and establish client objectives with the adviser
• ·        Produce/prepare a client risk profile
• ·        Conduct research to identify suitable solutions to meet the clients needs, preparing comparison analysis for discussion with the adviser where necessary
• ·        Prepare a recommendation report and discuss with the adviser
• ·        Write the suitability reports
• ·        Provide general assistance and technical support and knowledge to the Advisers and Support Team ongoing
• ·        Maintain up to date industry knowledge and awareness, training and development and keep up to date with providers products and new products to the market

The successful Paraplanner will have provided similar support within a Wealth Management or Financial Planning company and have or be working towards the level 4 diploma in financial planning (or Chartered) or equivalent.

In return you will receive a salary of up to £40,000 plus benefits.
