We are working with a global utilities business and they are recruiting for a HR Administrator / HR Assistant to join the business.
 
Reporting into the Global Head of HR, the role would involve supporting on all areas of generalist HR for the London office, whilst also assisting on global HR projects. This is an exciting and newly created role and would be ideal for an ambitious HR professional looking to obtain experience across all areas of HR. Key duties and responsibilities would include;
 
-Supporting the HR Director with all areas of generalist HR
-Providing HR support to the London office, dealing with all initial HR queries and administration
-Updating and managing the HR system, updating holidays, employee records, performance management systems etc.
-Assisting with a new system implementation, including data cleansing and ensuring the system is effective for the HR team
-Managing recruitment activities, including advertising, interviewing, new starter information, references and all administration around this.
-Administration and support across Learning & Development
-Reviewing and updating HR policies, ensuring effective HR procedures are in place and followed
-Supporting the Head of HR on global projects
 
For this role it is essential that candidates have proven experience at this level and are studying towards CIPD. Solid HR administration experience is essential, with the ability to review and put forward ideas on HR best practice.
 
There is great scope to take on more responsibility, so candidates will need to be actively looking to progress a career in HR and be creative, inquisitive, able to think on their feet and hold strong written and verbal communications skills. Good IT skills are essential, with various HR systems, in addition to MD Excel and PowerPoint.
