Our Clients a leading Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) firm based in Sussex covering Brighton & surrounding areas. They offer financial planning and investment advice to individuals, companies, trustees, business owners. They are recruiting for an employed Financial Planner ideally with Pension Transfer qualifications.

They offer advice on everything from investments and savings, to pensions and mortgages. The team consists of highly-qualified and experienced Financial Advisers 12 in total backed up with a superb administration and Paraplanner team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, committed and ambitious individual to maintain and develop advice services within a sophisticated financial planning business. This role has a high profile within the Group.  Our Clients are looking to appoint an individual that commands respect, has significant industry experience and holds the appropriate qualifications.  This individual will be responsible for guiding the firm’s advice processes.

Skills and Experience:

Advanced level of technical financial knowledge and expertise 

A deep understanding of Defined Benefit and Safeguarded Benefits Advice 

A strong understanding of Financial Services Regulation and FCA

An excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing

Able to work well with a wide range of people from different parts of the business

Able to manage different projects at the same time

Organised; able to work well under pressure

Have good presentation skills and attention to detail

Able to recognise risk and potential compliance failures

Essential 

Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent Level 4 qualification 

Pension Transfer Qualification (AF3 / AF7 / G60)
