Salary: to £45,000 DOE+ Pension + Flexible Benefits

Location: City of London     

Our client was established in over 10 years ago in London and has grown into an internationally recognised specialist in all lines of liability insurance and related specialty classes of business.

They act predominantly as a wholesale insurance and reinsurance broker, helping other brokers to access specialist markets worldwide and develop innovative risk management solutions for their clients. Our client is an authorised broker at Lloyd’s of London,  

From their London base they have access to Lloyd’s syndicates, other London Market insurers, and reinsurers globally. And they close relationships with European and Bermudian carriers offering direct and reinsurance capacity, and frequently work with Asian and Middle Eastern reinsurers on a comprehensive range of products and solutions.

They are now looking for a candidate who has Minimum 3-5 years of experience in UK PI or management liability broking or account management  

Overview of the role:-

·         UK broker relationship management

·         Dealing with new submissions, quotes, etc.

·         Point of contact with the clients broking teams - keeping on top of broking teams, chasing quotes, etc.

·         Developing new UK retail broker relationships

·         Broking business when appropriate

·         Working with Business Development team to create regular producer engagements

·         Servicing renewals - sending out reminders, renewal proposal forms, etc.

·         Point of contact for retail clients

·         Working with broking teams to identify and sell to new retail clients  

Requirements for the Role

·         Strong insurance product knowledge – PI, Management Liability, Cyber/ Technology& E&O

·         Strong written English and numeracy

·         Undergraduate degree-level education minimum

·         Ideally on the way to ACII qualification

·         Outgoing and engaging

·         Independent

·         Strong service ethos
