Working in partnership with one of the UK’s top manufacturing companies based in Yorkshire we are currently recruiting for an experienced HR Business Partner to join their very successful team in Bradford on a 12-month fixed term contract. You will be a key member of the HR team, reporting into the Senior HRBP, taking responsibility for specific business units across the UK, supporting c650 direct employees and c1500 self-employed contractors.As the HR Business Partner your key duties and responsibilities will include:
· Provide day to day advice to line managers on all HR issues: management of staff, employee relations, training etc.
· Provide advice and support line managers and the business with employment law queries.
· Liaise directly with the functional managers and directors, so an ability to build and maintain strong relationships with senior level employees is required.
· Ensure the onboarding and induction process is consistent throughout the business and candidates have a good experience.
· Work closely with the unions whilst advising and working with management.
· You will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing a Rewards and Benefits Scheme that plays an integral part in the company’s attraction, engagement, and retention strategy.
· Be confident in contributing new ideas towards employee engagement, the customer journey, and new schemes.
The successful candidate should:
· Be CIPD qualified with strong HR experience.
· Have experience of project work relating to employee engagement and reward and benefit schemes.
· Previous experience of working in HR for a customer service, contact centre or support services team would be highly desirable.
· The ability to perform under pressure and be able to prioritise your own workload whilst supporting your team.
· Have engaging communication skills, both over the telephone and face to face.
· Be a team player with a flexible ‘can do’ attitude.
· Be proficient with MS packages.
In return you will receive a salary of up to £40,000 depending on experience, 30days annual leave, free parking if early, flexibility with some home working, 4% pension contribution. Working hours are Monday to Friday between 8am – 6pm based at the Bradford office.
