Working in partnership with a well-established firm based in West Yorkshire we are currently recruiting for an experienced HR Generalist to join the very successful HR Team based at their Head Office and working from home on an ongoing temporary basis.
 
This is a great opportunity for an experienced HR Professional to join a fantastic team providing a high-quality HR service to c150 employees across 4 sites. The role would suit an experienced generalist or HRBP with a strong background within a fast-paced, commercial environment. Experience in internal recruitment would also be highly advantageous.
 
Your responsibilities in the role would be:
 
·        Provide support to managers regarding disciplinary and capability issues; advise on appropriate action and procedure.
·        Oversee all administration related to general ER queries, including maternity/paternity leave, holidays and sickness whilst ensuring accurate details are kept.
·        Generate ideas for improvements to the employee experience and ensure employee wellbeing with regular calls/meets when required.
·        Provide day to day advice to line managers on all HR issues: management of staff, remuneration, etc.
·        Experience of internal recruitment would be highly advantageous for this role.
·        Travel to the other offices to build relationships across all employees in the company.
·        Liaise directly with the partners so an ability to build and maintain strong relationships with senior level employees is required
 
The successful candidate should have:
 
·        Proven experience in a generalist HR role
·        Be CIPD qualified
·        The ability to perform under pressure and be able to prioritise your own workload whilst supporting your team.
·        Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
·        Previous experience of in-house recruitment would be ideal.
 
In return you will receive an equivalent full-time salary of circa £30,000 per annum / £17 per hour depending on your experience.  The role is full time, working 34 hours per week and offers flexibility to work from home as well as the office.  This opportunity could go permanent depending on your experience and possible opportunities in the business.
