Working in partnership with a leading UK & European manufacturing company based in West Yorkshire we have a very exciting opportunity for an experienced Production and Manufacturing Administrator to join the team. As an expanding business, this role is a key part of that growth plan, expanding their existing market share and moving into new markets.  This role will certainly offer growth and promotion opportunities for the right applicant.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Be highly organised with the ability to prioritise a diverse workload
• Hold experience in production administration
• Be meticulous in your approach to stock control and requirement
• Need proficiency in purchasing and invoicing, with current experience using SAGE or a similar software package that incorporates material resource planning (MRP).
• Liaise closely with the Group Purchasing Manager
• Support the Operations Manager with a variety of administrative requirements
• Be forward thinking, with the ability to implement processes and procedures to support the efficiency of the company
• Be confident and capable to carry out the role with minimal supervision
• Be an integral part of a small successful team, who will be able turn your hand to many tasks as and when required

The successful candidate will need:

• Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
• Be able to liaise across the team and broader group
• Strong organisational skills and time management
• Previous experience in Stock Control and MRP
• Proficient in SAGE (or similar software)
• Previous experience within a manufacturing environment essential
