Office Manager / Financial Adviser Support Team Manager. Birmingham. Salary £30,000 to £35,000.
An Independent Financial Advisers in Birmingham is seeking a new Office Manager. You will provide leadership and management skills to the team across two sites to enable the practice(s) to meet their agreed aims and objectives within a profitable, efficient, safe and effective working environment.
Job Responsibilities
- · Contribute ideas and suggestions within strategic management and planning meetings based on your assessment of the Practices processes, procedures and staffing, and implement and facilitate change where necessary
- · Management of the team, T&C’s, recruitment, disciplinary and maintain up-to-date HR documentation, including job descriptions, employment contracts and employment policies, effective systems for the resolution of disputes and grievances
- · Maintaining accurate adviser competency files, CPD and file check records and completing annual audits and ensure that the firm
- · Maintain correct records in relation to SM&CR
- · Ensure that the practice complies with FCA contractual obligations in relation to customer care and TCF standards
- · Maintain and develop practice protocols and procedures
- · Manage the Adviser support team, conduct performance review meetings, ensure development plans are in place and ensure the work being completed is to a high standard and within agreed timeframes monitoring against SLAs
- · Complete payroll and adviser invoices, and adviser commission reconciliations
To be considered for this position you will need to have worked in a similar Office, Practice or Support Team Manager role within an Independent Financial Advisers.
