Job Information

Working in partnership with a successful SME facilities and related support services company, who have an expanding blue-chip client base across the UK, I am currently recruiting for an experienced HR professional based at their office in Cheshire.  You will further develop the function in line with a strategic target to grow the business by a further 30% over the next two years.
Reporting to the Managing Director, as a member of the senior management team, the HR Manager will be responsible for the delivery of initiatives and projects across the entire HR spectrum to cover recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and development activity.

A further key element of the position extends to business compliance and the maintenance and development to the Company’s range of business accreditations that includes IS0 9001 – 14001 – 45001 as well as industry standards set by several compliance bodies as part of the SSiP membership scheme.  This element of the role is closely aligned to the HSEQ function where evidence of past exposure would be a distinct advantage.

The successful candidate will:

·        Be able to effectively contribute to business planning at board level through to operational outcomes, working alongside regional management teams and other support functions.
·        Have a pragmatic approach to deliver results in a commercially driven environment.
·        Strong grounding of experience of HR responsibility typically found at CIPD level 5/7
·        Up to date understanding and practical application of employment legislation.
·        Proven experience of delivery of development initiatives measured by outcome set against investment.
·        Evidence of successful outcome from external compliance or similar audits
·        Hands on exposure to acquisition and divestment in terms of TUPE and risk management
·        Application of engagement initiatives to promote employee engagement.

Personal qualities are exactly as expected from someone heading up an important support function where the emphasis is to add value, contribute to planning and successfully deliver the people agenda.

In return you will receive a salary of circa £45,000 per annum depending on experience, 31 days holiday, pension, DIS benefit and free parking.  This is a superb opportunity to have a real impact on the HR policies, day to day queries and wider business growth.  The role is primarily office-based Monday to Friday but with some flexibility to work from home and working hours that would suit both you and the client.

If you would like to apply, please send your CV via the link in the advert and a consultant from Cameron James will be in contact if you have been successfully shortlisted
