We are assisting a well-established educational organisation and they are recruiting for an Inhouse Recruiter to join the business ASAP.
 
This role would be ideal for a seasoned agency recruiter looking to move inhouse or longer term into HR, or candidates with recruitment / recruitment administration or just admin experience looking for a new opportunity.
 
Working as part of a busy recruitment team and part of the wider HR team, the role will be responsible for supporting the business with all areas of recruitment from taking JD’s, advertising, screening candidates, interviewing, managing and delivering offers, contracts, references, pre-employment checks and on-boarding. Key duties and responsibilities will include;
 
-Managing and supporting the business will high volume recruitment - c200 roles across different departments
-Liaison with the business on recruitment needs, checking and writing job descriptions
-Provide advice and guidance to managers on a range of queries on the recruitment process, including checking adverts, assisting with the offer process etc
-Providing email and phone-based support on a whole range of queries
-Drafting and placing advertisements, shortlisting CV’s, arranging and attending interviews
-Managing the offer process, obtaining references, sending out offer letters, doing relevant checks
-Ensuring the recruitment process is conducted in accordance with legislative requirements
-Preparation and issue of appointment documentation and contracts of employment
-Advising line managers and employees on the recruitment policy and procedure.
-Updating and using HR systems and managing the Recruitment Inbox
-Setting up new employees and ensuring a smooth onboarding process

For this role candidates will ideally have recruitment experience (agency, inhouse recruiter or as part of a HR admin role) and be confident working in a fast paced and hands on role. However candidates with strong administration experience will still be considered.
 
Working in recruitment, excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) are essential, in addition to accuracy and strong attention to detail.
 
A can-do attitude is essential, and you will be expected to work as part of a team and provide assistance to other members of the recruitment team when needed.
