We are assisting a well-established Law Firm with the recruitment of an experienced L&D (Learning & Development) Professional.
 
This role is for a 12-month fixed contract and is to start ASAP.
 
Working as part of the L&D Team the role will report into the L&D Manager and will support and manage the on-going and wide-ranging L&D offering to the business. This will include all internal training, L&D administration, manage events and update and maintain the Learning Intranet, including producing video and digital content. Main duties and responsibilities will include;
 
-Supporting the Learning and Development Manager and working as part of a team of 3
-Responsible for L&D administration including preparing departmental roadmaps, assisting the L&D manager with strategy documents, policies and partner reports.
-Assisting with the creation and delivery to the firm of the full training programme, including a variety of skills-based training initiatives utilising appropriate methods of training delivery
-Ensuring the firm meets its risk and compliance obligations through the delivery of compulsory learning activities and on-line platforms
-Manage the provision and uptake of training programmes, monitoring and reporting on learning activity, including contributing analytics to monthly Partners Report, APIL Reports etc.
-Gathering feedback, analysing learning outcomes and calculating the budget
-Promoting Learning and Development services and events generally across the firm
-Researching, organising and facilitating training workshops using internal or external suppliers
-Ensuring that training rooms are reserved, configured appropriately and that technology (both physical & Zoom), equipment, catering, training materials, stationery etc are available
-Meet with stakeholders across the business to assess training and development needs, supporting on Projects, IT & HR teams to roll out new initiates or software.
-Responsible for on-boarding homepages, developing and maintaining corresponding forms and workflows.
-Delivering L&D guidance in the induction session and then administrating the process to user completion.
-Designing web pages, developing, maintaining and updating digital learning platform
-Produce digital content, edit video & write content for intranet including adding events, uploading QRGS, embedding videos, adding widgets etc.

For this role candidates will need to hold proven L&D experience and ideally have experience within a law firm, accountancy form or other similar professional services business.
 
Strong L&D experience is essential as this is a busy and fast paced role. Ideally candidates will have exposure to producing and editing digital content - although this isn’t essential.
