Annual Salary £23 – 28,000 DOE + Pension and other benefits – initial Fixed Term contract with potential leading to permanent position

Our client is a long established specialised independent Insurance Broker in West Birmingham.  They are now looking for a candidate who can Contribute to achievement of Company plans and targets for the development of the business. To work within a team to assist and support others in their duties. To provide clients with a professional and efficient service to meet their needs.

Duties of the Commercial Claims Handler role:

·         Work as a part of a team of handling household and Personal lines claims

·         Registration, investigation, negotiation and settlement of claims

·         Liaise with underwriters to ensure the application of appropriate clauses, endorsements and conditions

·         Ensure claims are correctly reserved and settled as well as to pay valid claims ensuring the proper application of policy limits, excesses and best practice

·         Deliver first class customer service and keeping customers up to date at every step of the process

·         Requirements of the Commercial Claims Handler:

·         Motor and commercial Insurance Claims experience
