Admin & Accounts Assistant – Home Working Position 5 days a weekBasic Salary to 19k + Benefits – Office Based in Birmingham
Our client is a leading Independent Insurance Broker who due to continued growth and Expansion require an Administration and Accounts Assistant to join the Business. The position is based from Home 5 Days a week to offer the flexibility you are looking for – This is a permanent position 37.5 hours a week Monday to Friday
Duties of the position
• Manage inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner
• Speak to Insurers where necessary to make sure invites are timely.
• Achieves and supports company objectives and standards by supporting the Team Leader achieve department activities, results and targets.
• Issuing invites letters to clients in timely manner
• Issuing new business & renewal documentation to clients in timely manner
• Processing cancellations with Insurers
• Reconciling Insurer accounts
• Investigating and correcting accounting queries.
• Strong organisational skills
• Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening
• Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types
• Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
• Requirements for the role
• Positive, Proactive and forward thinking
• Good management of time, never say no attitude, be able to extract information from customers and overcome objections
• Good Maths and communication skills
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products would be an advantage
• Computer literate
• Ability to inspire and lead team members.
• Approachable and supportive nature.
