 Admin & Accounts Assistant – Home Working Position 5 days a week

Basic Salary to 19k + Benefits – Office Based in Birmingham

Our client is a leading Independent Insurance Broker who due to continued growth and Expansion require an Administration and Accounts Assistant to join the Business.  The position is based from Home 5 Days a week to offer the flexibility you are looking for – This is a permanent position 37.5 hours a week Monday to Friday

Duties of the position

                     Manage inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner

                     Speak to Insurers where necessary to make sure invites are timely.

                     Achieves and supports company objectives and standards by supporting the Team Leader achieve department activities, results and targets.

                     Issuing invites letters to clients in timely manner

                     Issuing new business & renewal documentation to clients in timely manner

                     Processing cancellations with Insurers

                     Reconciling Insurer accounts

                     Investigating and correcting accounting queries.

                     Strong organisational skills

                     Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening

                     Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types

                     Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively

 

                     Requirements for the role

                     Positive, Proactive and forward thinking

                     Good management of time, never say no attitude, be able to extract information from customers and overcome objections

                     Good Maths and communication skills

                     Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products would be an advantage

                     Computer literate

                     Ability to inspire and lead team members.

                     Approachable and supportive nature.
